Established in May 2012, Marley’s Hope Dog Rescue is an all breed rescue organization. We are a registered non-profit comprised solely of dedicated and experienced volunteers. Marley’s Hope dog rescue is funded in part by donations and in part through adoption fees. These donations and adoption fees are used to cover some of the costs such, as food and veterinary care our rescued dogs require. Marley’s Hope is foster based and relies on the generosity of public support for fostering and fundraising.
Our mission is to be a responsible, ethical rescue and not for profit. All our dogs will be fully vetted (including altering and vaccinated and any medical treatment as necessary) before being considered for adoption. If the dog is too young to be altered, then adoption is not considered finalized until this takes place. Our goal is to match dogs who find themselves without guardians with people who are compatible to that dogs breed, activity level and temperament. We offer support and guidance to all of our families for the lifetime of their new pet. Marley’s Hope is sensitive to the plight of abandoned & homeless dogs in our area and are prepared to give our time and energy to help give them a second chance. Our reward is to see a frightened, often desperately thin, sometimes injured, homeless dog blossom into a self-confident, happy pet in a loving home. Our belief is a dog is a dog, regardless of where the dog is found or what circumstances they have experienced before coming into rescue.
Marley’s Hope encourages partnerships with shelters and other rescues and we truly believe that volunteers are the heart and soul behind saving the abandoned animals that our society leaves behind. We intend to work as diligently and passionately as possible to find compatible and permanent homes for our rescue dogs. We also strive to promote positive and lasting change by sharing resources when available with other rescues and groups that work to help end the suffering of dogs.
